Artricia Therapy offers individually tailored therapeutic support to children, young people and their families, as well as flexible practice support for children and young people's practitioners.
For Children and Young People
Artricia Therapy is focused on promoting children and young people’s well-being and resilience by helping them to make sense of their experiences, gain a better understanding of their emotions and helping them to communicate their views. This is offered through individual, family and group Art Therapy.
For Practitioners
Artricia Therapy is committed to empowering practitioners working with children and young people by nurturing their confidence, helping them to develop their practice skills and build on their knowledge in a safe and reflective space. This is offered through individual and group Supervision.
Artricia Therapy was Founded by Dr Patricia Watts in 2019 to offer a timely and accessible Art Therapy service for Children, Young People and Families and a responsive and accountable Supervisory service for Practitioners.
Patricia specialises in working with Children, Young People and Families and has extensive experience of working as a Practitioner and Practice Supervisor. Patricia is also a Lecturer in Arts Therapies and is the Co-Founder of The Centre for Creative Therapeutic Practice.
Patricia is Health & Care Professional Council (HCPC) registered and holds full membership to the British Association of Art Therapists (BAAT) and is also an approved Private Practitioner and Supervisor with the BAAT. Her practice is underpinned by the HCPC standards of proficiency and the BAAT code of ethics for art therapists.
In addition, Patricia is a PVG scheme member, holds current Professional Indemnity and Public Liability Insurance, is ICO registered and receives regular Clinical Supervision from an Art Therapist/Systemic Family Therapist for her Therapeutic work and is also supervised by a registered Social Worker for her supervisory work.

Patricia is currently working towards a Diploma in Therapeutic Life Story Work.
